For anyone interested, the services for Ed are as follows:

The wake will be held tomorrow (8/26/05) from 2-4p and 7-9p at Haggerty's on Route 9 in Old Bridge and the funeral will be held on Saturday at 11:15am at St. Thomas in Route 18 in Old Bridge.

Thank you all for your support and kindness during this time.

Jenn I am so sorry for your loss. Ed was a really decent guy and he was always there for us when we needed him. Everyone here at our cluster up in the Poconos who worked with him are truly saddened by his passing. Ed was a true proffesional which always showed in the work that he did. He will be missed.

Jenn,

I can't believe I'm even typing this. I'm so sorry to hear about Ed. I'm still in shock, really. Ed has been a good friend, confidant, and co-worker of mine for many years now....heck, you and I were introduced to him around the same time, right? This is truly unbelievable. Please accept my deepest sympathies and know that he will be in my thoughts and prayers always. I'll miss you Ed. Rest in Peace.

Hey Jenn,

Been about 5 years now, maybe you remember me from the WNJO days, maybe not. Shocked would not be the right word to describe my reaction when I read the news today on All Access. I rememeber sitting in Scott Edwards' office listening to Ed's demo when he applied for the imaging job at NJO and the first thing I said after hearing it was " You've already hired this guy right?". i have a lot of good memories of Ed, whether it was at the studios shooting the breeze, or having a couple of beers, he was a down to earth guy with a dry sense of humor that you could always have a good time with. I wish i could be there to pay my respects in person, but I'll be thinking about both of you. I hope the healing process is kind to you.

>Robb,

It's been a long time! I remember those days of getting beers with Eddie. Usually at Fridays! I remember the Super Bowl game too. He was a great firend and a lot of fun to work with. Keep in touch - it would be great to talk to you again! [email protected]. We can share Eddie stories! Scott is in American Samoa - so he will not be making it to the servies, but he is very upset and sends is love. We both loved Eddie very much.

I can remeber working with Ed when he was at Nassau. He had a passion for radio and was one of the nicest guys you could ever hope to meet in or outside of this industry. It stinks every time the world loses one of the good guys like this!! He will be missed.

My thoughts and prayers are with him, his family and loved ones.

Thank you, Bob...and thank you everyone...thank you all for coming out this afternoon to see Ed...I'm sure we'll see many of you tonight as well. We all appreciate it and I know he does too. As far as the cause of death, we still don't know. We are still waiting on reports from the medical examiner so it could be a couple of weeks...if they even find anything at all. Ed was a wonderful man...never smoked, drank or did any drugs. As soon as I find out anything, I will let you know. But until then, please know that the support of the radio community as a whole has been overwhelming. I gave Captain Jack some old airchecks from when he first started at the Breeze and I know that the tribute tonight will be beautiful. It doesn't matter who you work for, please know that doesn't mean anything now...if you get a chance, please call in...I know Eddie will be listening.
