Sesame Workshop, the non-profit, educational organization behind Sesame Street, has announced changes to the set of the iconic neighborhood aimed at giving little viewers a fresh and appealing home for their favorite furry friends. For more than 45 years, families across America have looked towards Sesame Street's beloved Muppets to help children grow smarter, stronger and kinder by learning their ABCs, building their inner strength and developing their moral compass – along with a lasting love of learning. As Sesame Street begins production on its 46th season this week, the show unveils plans to deepen that foundation with one of the most striking changes to the show in the past decade – an updated, reimagined, fun and vibrant new set!
