Several CBS shows have been axed

Not sure how it's stunning, really. Lots of speculation around in the past few weeks that either Whisperer or Medium would be toast, and it ended up being Jennifer and the twins getting cut. Christine was rumored to be on the list for extinction last year, so hardly a shock it finally went away...nor the rest of the list, all things considered.

It won't be long before some of the newer CBS shows go the "CSI" route... in other words, prepare for "The Bigger Bang Theory"! ;D

Poor Ghost Whisperer...actually a very good show that was always stuck on Friday's, lowest viewership night of the week. It deserved much better. Too bad about Cold Case too, since it always got good numbers.

Can't figure how "Old Christine" gets cancelled and "Rules of Engagement" gets renewed. Same with "Cold Case" getting cancelled and Medium staying.

With "Old Christine" getting cancelled, that a double blow for Wanda Sykes, being that FOX cancelled her Saturday night show "The Wanda Sykes Show".

I never did like "The New Adventures of Old Christine." I tried to watch it a couple years back and I just found it to be highly annoying. On the other hand, I usually find "Rules of Engagement" to be quite entertaining.

According to Wikipedia "Christine" only has 88 episodes, which doesn't make it very desireable for syndication right? I am thinking 100 episodes is the goal, which would mean another half season.

I would think anything less than 100 episodes would restrict it to middays on basic cable.

As far as "Ghost Whisperer"... maybe this means they'll finally stop running that cheesy promo for the show on the streams on CBS Radio stations... ::)

That sucks,I guess I wont be tuning in CBS no more,Ghostwhisperer is one of my favorites.some of the other on the hitlist I watch too.

The New Adventures of Old Christine, Cold Case, Numb3rs. are the others.

I'm still surprized that Survivor is still going. This is the only reality tv show I watch, besides ABC's Americas Funniest Videos.

I'm sorry to hear "accidentally on Purpose" didn't make it. Jenna Elfman is one of those actresses I can anjoy no matter what she does.

And Davis was very funny.

I enjoy Jenna Elfman, too - she's very cute and engaging. Her performance in Dharma and Greg rose above the mediocre scripts and annoying overacting of some of the other cast. Thomas Gibson ("Greg") was fine too, but (in my opinion) Susan Sullivan and Alan Rachins should have been ashamed. Nevertheless, Jenna made the show tolerable.

But in my opinion, not even Jenna could overcome the worse than mediocre scripts for Accidentally on Purpose.

I also have liked "Rules of Engangment" since it began, but when it was off for so long after the writer's strike I got a little worried about it. I do wish they'd drop the guy from India, whatever his name is. He does not really add anything to the show.
