SEVERIN NEEDS SEVERAL DAYS TO FIND BOSTON ?

Noticed that Hannity is filling in for Severin today.
Maybe, Severin had to spend several days studying a map to find Boston for his visit on Friday.
Think we could classify Jay Severin as an "undocumented alien" ?

Again, once in awhile they'll bring him up here for a live remote as if to
show that he's live and local. Severin also seems to have more than a few
weeks of vacation during the summer (oh, 10, 11?). Last year it almost seemed like
the slot was Hannity's.

I never understood how he can live in whatever part of new york that he lives in and still they try to say "live and Local" it's like the wizard of Oz behind the curtain.

Why Don't They Find A Sub?

Here's the other part: why the hell don't they find a sub? Ever hear of programming continuity? Know of no other station doing this.

Yeah, replace the ratings leader....with a ratings leader!

That's the continuity!

Also, since TKK normally runs Hannity at nite....it's like the "night-guy" is "subbing" for Jay. (Hannity usually makes that announcement on the air.)

Probably because most stations run Hannity live in the afternoon.

But who could listen to that harpie twice in the same day.

Re: Why Don't They Find A Sub?

If WTKK were a baseball team we'd say they have no "bench". Nobody to
pinch hit. It's cheaper to just pick up the live feed for Hannity at 3 pm
then do the usual rebroadcast at 10 pm. They also don't believe in
doing local news past 7 pm.

Re: Why Don't They Find A Sub?

Usually Sean will say "By the way for those of you in Boston, I'm in for Jay who's feeling a bit under the weather"
but really I think Jay is taking vacation time.
