Severin On the Lam: Day 5 :)

Still no sign of Severin on WTKK. Remember when Howie used to do "Whitey On The Lam: Day __"? We can now maybe do that with Severin. Where...in the world is...
Jimmy Severino?

Waiting for 'TKK to roll out those billboards with SEAN HANNITY, WEEKDAYS 3-6 PM
ON 96.9 FM talk. Yes, the Hannitizer is on again and no sign of Severin responding to the Globe article, or plugging his new show, or...

Well, maybe he's just gone off to pick up another Pulitzer Prize.

Right now on the WTKK site:

"ON AIR NOW
Jay Severin
3:00PM - 7:00PM
Details"

WRONG!!!

maybe back by Thu?

BRW hinted that Severin should be back by Thu, the start of the next ratings period. By the way radioandrecords.com is promising new Boston 12+ numbers
today (probably at 4:59 pm if you get my drift...)

Re: maybe back by Thu?

Glad you made the post.
Now, the know nothings and don't want to learn nuttin people out there can attack you and not me - although they probably will anyway. :)

see the ratings? 'RKO and 'TKK both down a bit; AAR up VERY slightly.
Wish I knew ratings per daypart.

Will be interesting to hear Jay talk about that column when/if he gets back.
Edited by raccoonradio on 09/20/05 09:11 PM.

Re: maybe back by Thu?

AAR / JONES RADIO in the Boston market needs more power.

They also need to get some new PSAs.

And Al Franken belongs with Jerry Springer - on the late night.

Play Randy from the day before noon to 3 then Ed Schultz, then Laura Flanders (does she work during the week?)

Franken just works better on tv, as stated in an earlier post. It is so slow paced it forces ya to tune out. Couple that with the PSAs and the poor reception, it's not a good recipe.

Re: maybe back by Thu?

Egan and Broude mentioned that they were filling in for Jay on "Extreme Days." I would say that Jay will return.
