Severin to return to 96.9

Re: Severin the Bostonian?

At least Jay has a brain under his flat top which is more than can be said for the guy who is taking his old time slot or any of the Forest Gumps over at WRKO.

Re: Severin the Bostonian?

He won't have to keep up the charade at all. He's a national show now
and might mention he's in New York, surely, but no need to pretend
he was on Morrissey Blvd like he used to.

So did I.

Yes.

The rumor someone had posted here said that WBZ would start running
Severin in April...right around the time when Bruins season ends (or
is it May now?) In which case why would they wait so long? Sure, he'd
be pre-empted by the B's more than a few times but they'd want to
get him going, though. moot point now.

Yes...and he might not necessarily be a good fit for WBZ. Severin could
get a bit rude at times (referring to the fat derriere of a former
first lady, and getting away with a swear word by adding an E at the
end and making it rhyme with "spite"). Not sure that would mesh with the BZ image.<P ID="signature">______________

Re: What's his baseball allegiance?

I'll bet he's a Yankee fan. (I, of course, am a diehard Sox fan!)

Laura Ingraham, who hails from Glastonbury, CT (where you could find fans
of both teams) has said how much she loved it when Bucky Dent hit that
famous HR in the '78 playoff: yes, she grew up a Yankee fan but I think
she also said she's cheered for the Sox more lately.
