Barnicle and Imus discuss Severin

This morning on Imus, he asked Barnicle if Severin was off the air. Barnicle said yes, because he was in negotiations over what time his syndicated show would air in Boston. Then Barnicle said "whatever the Boston affiliate is ... TTK" Way to go with the wrong call letters.

Maybe TTK doesn't want him back.

Well there was a WTTK awhile back...100.7

from bostonradio.org: "...station management inexplicably decided in October 1974 to return to a simulcast of the AM station's country format. This lasted for two years, when the station became WTTK and added rock to its country rotation. The following September, the country was dropped entirely and album rocker “TK-101” was born. I"

Severin done on 96.9

Severin will not be returning to his PM drive slot on 96.9.

Is that a prediction or are you sharing some insider info?

I guess he will go to WBZ from 7-10

Well the scuttlebutt has it that his new show will air 7-10, so while there
may be a slight possibility of him returning to 96.9, it won't be
afternoons that's for sure. I get the feeling he's heading for WBZ
and WTKK is benching him and giving the "tryout" story...

Most likely a prediction but it's just common snese. Infinity hires him for syndication do you think they would not keep him on an Infinity station in the only market that has any idea who he is?. He's not going back to 96.9 it wont happen.
