SF Giants take stake in FSN Bay Area

From Variety.com:

SF Giants take stake in FSN
MLB team purchases 30% of local network

(T)he Giants have signed a 25-year contract to funnel up to 135 games a year exclusively to FSN Bay Area. The Giants' 30% stake will come equally from Comcast's holding, which goes from 60% to 45%, and Fox Sports' stake, which drops to 25% from the previous 40%.

This next quote is even more interesting...

Comcast will continue to operate the net, which will receive a name change (favoring Comcast) before the new baseball season starts.

Say hello to Comcast SportsNet Bay Area.

Why can't we get away from Comcast. They are everywhere. Will we eventully see Comcast Park at the former AT&T Park of the former SBC Park of the former Pacific Bell Park?

So what does the name change mean for other Cable providers? I cant imagine Charter or a Satellite company liking the fact they are carrying a channel with a competitors name all over it
