SF-NRG:

I heard that it was sold. I heard that nothing happens until September. And I've heard that the new owners love the station as it is. Famous last words? Let's hope not.

2009 is starting to be a bad year for dance radio. Pulse 87 is doomed, and now Energy SF is being sold.

Or...this could make Now 92.3 more Dance friendly, as well as 103.5 KTU.
Dance/Pop is obviously very hot right now with a lot of mainstream artists. The new one from Shakira sounds like an early 80s Blondie record...

The problem is that stations like 92.3 Now would only play the top dance hits, maybe 3 of them, and nothing else. Stations like Pulse and Energy go, as you know, much deeper and give a shot to a lot more artists then would ever see the light of day at a station that only plays the hits.
