SF/SJ ARBITRON PPM RATINGS RELEASED: NOVEMBER 2010

KNBR #1 in San Francisco? How?

(Not to mention that their digital stream also charted...)

Shocking to see KNBR finally beating KCBS at the #1 spot.

I find it comical now that KTRB once thought they could give KNBR a run for their money, while the folks at KNBR are partying over a 7.2, KTRB is a daytimer with a 0.1. With insane ratings like this, could it be time to take the 2.1 KSAN out of the game and put KNBR on FM while its at this peak?
Also KNBR is at a 6.5 in San Jose, so maybe they could at least flip KFFG 97.7, and leave 104.5 to cover San Jose, which I think it does an okay job of doing

Major programming events do great in PPM, and the World Series is a perfect example of that. Great news for KNBR!

KCBS #2 - Always there when KGO was KING =) (Top 5 Ain't bad, though) But I was very impressed by the results of my favorite #3 KQED - I must say I Love the Bay Area, they play my kind of news. ;) JG

In 25-54 KCBS is 5th, after KNBR, KQED, KOIT and KBRG. But the real story is KGO, at 20th.

From All Access' PPM analysis:

Most impressive was the breadth of KNBR’s success, claiming the #1 position P18-34, P18-49, P25-54 and P35-64. KNBR even beat every music station for WOMEN 25-54 with only KQED-F ahead of it.
