Is Sgt Bilko still available in syndication? This is a very funny show that you never see anymore.

I believe all seasons are available on DVD. Definitely funnier than most "comedy" on tv now. Haven't seen it on the tube in a long time.
 
Sgt. Bilko (aka:"The Phil Silvers Show") aired in a marathon in the mid 1990s on Nick At Nite around the time the Steve Martin theatrical film was released.

Clips can be found on You Tube. STILL a classic series.

Silvers was also voice-characatured by Hanna-Barbera character Hokey Wolf (replacing Yogi Bear)on The Huckleberry Hound Show in 1961. Yogi became a spinoff series that same year. Assorted characters also resembled Phil's Sgt. Bilko voice character by Jay Ward's incarnations of the Rocky and Bullwinkle series and George of the Jungle.
 
CBS (the owner of the series) has apparently remastered 22 episodes of "The Phil Silvers Show" (Bilko) into high definition. That makes me think that someday at least those 22 episodes may reappear somewhere.
 
I always thought "Top Cat", the cartoon show with Arnold Stang voicing the main character, was more of a Phil Silvers/Sgt. Bilko influenced production than Hokey Wolf but everyone is entitled to their own opinion. (Especially since Benny the Ball was voiced by Maurice Gosfield who played Private Duane Doberman on the Silvers show and the command "T.C." had over the other cats, much the same way Master Sgt Ernie Bilko had on his barracks buds.)
 
Harvey Lembeck who played Frankie Avalon's nemesis,biker Eric Von Zipper, in all those beach operas had a co-starring role in Sgt.Bilko as one of Ernie's cronies.
 
Until fairly recently, 'Bilko' was a fixture on the BBC's daytime lineup, usually BBC2.(In the UK, the show was as popular in reruns as 'I Love Lucy' in this country, never leaving the schedule in 50+ years). I think it's now running on cable over there.
