We can judge based on the actions taken by Press Communications at all of their stations that they believe that people don't really care about their on-air personalities. The abrupt ways in which they have dropped talent (from popular G Rock morning show hosts Brian Phillips & Jen Ursillo, to Matt Knight when they re-launched B 98.5 [the only link to the original station that they had], to Captain Jack & Lexi Carter at Thunder, to Dianne De Oliveira at The Breeze), they have a lengthy history of dismissing their DJs without even giving them the chance to say goodbye. I don't think any of the Monmouth/Ocean area broadcasters truly understand what attracts people to radio judging by their generic programming, rampant voicetracking, and the way personalities come and go (WRAT being the only exception to this rule ... can't say the same for sister station and perennial cellar dweller Magic 100.1), but Press have long been the worst offenders ... and that's even with one of their competitors being a hedge fund getting into the broadcasting biz.
