Shakira - Hips on WXER 104.5 Sheboygan

So I guess Midwest got around to tweaking 104.5 in Sheboygan. Heard Shakira on there during the day this week. Sounds better than the stiffs that the used to play. The dance tunes from the early 90s and obscure non-hits are all gone. More like WIXX in Green Bay now, but without the really heavy stuff they play at night. Nice improvement and it fills the void for a CHR mainstream station in the market.

Yeah... great. Chalk up another one for midwest comm. Why do I see WLKN's ratings spiking up in the next book??? "The point" was a much better station when run by mountain dog.Outside of "the lake" who does midwest have to compete with in Sheboygan??? It's kind of like if saga or cc owned every staion in Milwaukee.... pretty sad. In fact I go out of my way to not listen to any midweat station anymore... country- 99.5 the wolf, rock -WAPL, ac- "the lake" or KTI, news talk-WISN or TMJ and I live in Sheboygan. nuff said.

You could very well be right. Midwest owns basically EVERY station in Sheboygan.
But they still have to compete with Milwaukee and some sticks in Appleton plus
various others including WLKN which is located in Manitowoc county and does not cover the entire metro with it's signal. They DO stream however.

That same song by Shakira is now played on 94.5 WKTI as well.
