Shall we discuss the Tri-Cities Book?

Because I really don't care anything about Knoxville.

Okay, first thing I notice is that WAEZ is back up to fourth place, not as high as they once were but still up.

As disapointed as I am to see Bristol Broadcasting stations do well, anyone have any idea why they went up?

It seems that the format shift of WKOS isn't working.

I found this interesting- if you add WFHG's AM and FM side, then WFHG and WJCW tied for number one.

Why do you think that is? Could it be that Quaintence went back to WFHG, or is it that we actually have listenable broadcasts in the evening on WJCW with the Atlanta Braves instead of high school basketball?

WKPT- I'm said this before- WHY WON'T THIS STATION CHANGE TO THE ALL SPORTS FORMAT IT IS DESTINED FOR? Nobody is listening to the Frank Sinatra records- and the senior people in the Tri-Cities don't listen to Frank Sinatra anyway, they listen to Patsy Cline and Hank Williams!

Oh, I forgot. Scott Gray is their top sportscaster. That little flaw in their sports programming might come out if you gave him a daily show to go up against Bill Meade.

I know nothing about gospel, but why did WEYE go from ratings in the twos to 0.9 in their last book?

Oh, and where's WEMB?

Let's discuss the Tri-Cities Book when the book comes out next month. For now it's just a trend, and it's not weighted info yet. Having said that, congrats to the stations that had good trends in the Tri-Cities.

Yeah, seems nobody wants to discuss Knoxville numbers when the Journal stations have good trends :)<P ID="signature">______________

So, 'XBQ is up two points. Truly remarkable. Now, Gunner Jackson is back, so let's see how far up they stay up and how long GJ stays in the market. I still think I did pretty good when I was there, but you know, they said they needed a change. Good f***in' luck!

Ya know, nobody wants to discuss Knoxville numbers cause Knox radio is a joke. That includes Citadel, South Central and your precious little Journal stations.
