Shame On You AZ Republic

I am a subscriber to the McPublic so I can only complain so much, but I wanted to change some of the presets on my car radio. I look into Saturday's Living section. 1010 is still listed as Progressive Talk and 1480 shows as Comedy. It takes all of two minutes to change the stations to the correct format. Wake up McPublic!

Apparently not, so don't hold your breath.

Back when then-KUET 710 Black Canyon City was
running the same satellite nostalgia format
(Stardust) as the Giant 580 (KSAZ Marana),
while KSAZ was logged correctly as "Adult
standards" KUET was listed as "Oldies."

It took months and a couple of format flips
and/or call letter changes for McRepublic
to finally show AM 710 correctly, if it
even is now. Paging David Eduardo--is
"Spanish oldies" a correct format listing
for KMIA?

The correct format listing for the current KMIA would be Spanish (-language to be technical) Sports.

Well the Repulsive still has sentimental (not actual) ties to KTAR, so they have little interest in other radio.

The last TWO times (at least) that the Republic has done an article on the Arbitron quarterly ratings, it mentioned (correctly) that one of the top stations 12+ in the market was KHOT, 105.9 FM. Each time, the same section included their list of Phoenix market stations -- and there was no 105.9 even listed! I sent the "Arizona Living" section editor a message to bring that error to their attention, but this past weekend, their listing of stations was unchanged -- still no mention of 105.9.
