SHAME SHAME: BIG 3 NETWORKS BIDDING ON CASEY ANTHONY INTERVIEW

I think it's just another sign of the times. With reality TV being so popular, people now expect to get paid for their opinions.

I don't really approve of it, but I think that is just the way the wave is moving. I recall reading a book by Harold Schechter who writes true crime books. He had a policy to never pay for any information for his books. He was writing a book and a crime crossed over to another crime that was unsolved. The woman was adamant she wouldn't talk. He wound up paying her $50 bucks which is all she wanted and he told a cold case squad what she told him and it blew the case open and they solved it.

When asked why she didn't come forward, she said, the cops never asked her. They knew she lived in the same building and was familiar with the suspect but made no attempt to interview her. So she said nothing.

As I said, I don't exactly approve, but I would think of it like paying witnesses reward money for coming forward and solving crimes. Yeah they should do it for free, but the reality is that probably won't happen, so let's nudge them.

i hope casey anderson has to do a deposition in a civil case that can be revealed to the public .thus making her market value for an interview close to nothing.

Who is Casey Anthony?

She was the woman from Florida who was just weeks ago found Not Guilty of murdering her 2 year old daughter 3 years ago.
Actually, it is true just one month ago I didn't even know who she was.
And outside of Orlando it's a question I would rather have answered with "I don't know."

Judging by Facebook, I'd say that the networks should just bid for the rights to film her assassination.
Sad that we have resorted to letting TV commen-tainers have more say in judicial matters than the juries themselves.

Look its Nancy Grace and the HLN crew is going to win on the bidding on Casey's assasination and interview. does ABC, CBS, Fox and NBC staff members really care about Casey Anthony? Its really TruTV, HLN and TMZ that's got to win on the Casey Anthony interview.
