Philadelphia area radio enthusiasts interested in squandering the weekend of March 8th - March 10th might wish to check out the 20th (!) Annual Winter SWL Fest, to be held that weekend up at the Best Western Inn at Towamencin in beautiful Kulpsville (the Lansdale exit of the Northeast Extension of the Turnpike).
We'll have 2 and 1/2 days of forum sessions dealing with radio history, DXing, Internet Radios, scanners, international broadcasting trends, and a "listening lounge" dedicated to distinctly crafted radio programs from the past.
We typically draw 150-200 radio enthusiasts, including folks "in the business" in the Philadelphia market and elsewhere.
