If you're calling radio one for help, please expect a busy signal since Albany isn't one of the biggest markets for urban ad dollars or by black population. Last time I checked there aren't even any HDBA zips in the Albany metro.

I agree. I don't think Radio One is interested in Albany at this moment.

Oh, HOW I BEG TO DIFFER!

If you think it's all about money, think again! Shoot, Pamal just wants to fill A-S-T's
Rhythmic Hits void!
At least they could have made WZMR--which has hit an all-time Arbitron ratings low (currently 1.3) with Country, and you thought it was gonna remove WGNA from #1-- "Z-104.9 FM: Jammin' Hits--and left Jamz alone!
Shoot, people want to hear MUSIC, not MONEY!
Edited by warnoldholmes on 10/01/05 04:31 PM.

Having never worked for Pamal, I'm not going to speculate why or how they make the decisions they make. But having worked for Radio One, I have a decent understanding about their aquisition strategies. And with public companies, it is all about the money and ROI for shareholders. If u don't believe that, you're in deep denial.

I'll let you have the last word on this.

JAMZ IS CONFUSED

The direction of Jamz is getting confusing..hard hip hop imaging with very pop imaging mixed in with hard core hip hop followed by a pop song
the overall sound of the station is completely horrible..the tempos and selection shows its far from #1 in anything..

I'll surely enough say!
