Anybody know what happened to Shane from WLEE in Richmond and WKBW in Buffalo?
 
IIRC, Shane did a less than spectacular stint at Norfolk, Virginia's Z-104 (WNVZ) around 1985. I think he held down the 7:00 to midnight shift. I also read that he ran for a political office in Buffalo.
 
Spent most of the 1970s and into the 80s on nights at WGR in Buffalo. Also ran later on (under the name, IIRC, of Shane Gibson--Gibson is his real last name) for Buffalo Common Council in the Niagara (west side) District on the Repubican ticket...Buffalo's a Democratic town, so he wasn't elected.
