In the late 90's-early 2000's on Comcast in Reston VA, GSN shared space with a channel called PIN, which was basically nothing but infomercials. PIN ran from about 8am-4pm and GSN ran from 4pm-8am.

Shared-Time Cable Channels

During much of the 90s, American Cablevision in Kansas City (now Spectrum) CNBC in the day, and BET at night shared a channel until they got their own channel spaces after an upgrade in channel capacity
Today, I can think about only TeenNick (live-action Nick)/NickSplat (90s Nick).
I can also see shared time used on WEDU and WUSF (which will shut down soon) in their subchannels for the Florida Channel (I call it the Floridian equivalent of C-SPAN).

Connecticut has one of those, too, CT-N (aka The Connecticut Network). For a while, it shared Channel 13 with WNBC New York on the Cox system here in central Connecticut. Eventually, WNBC was eliminated and CT-N took over 13 24/7.
