Sharranda Neal today was been promoted to news director at WLTX, Tegna’s CBS affiliate in Columbia, S.C. (DMA 75), effective Sept. 8.

For the past 10 years, Neal has been content manager at WLTX where she was responsible for logistics and editorial content.

“I am humbled by the responsibility of this position,” Neal said. “I can’t wait to build on the great work that we, here at WLTX, are doing by telling the stories of our community and advocating for the people who live here. I’m confident that great things are ahead.”
