Shawn Farrington Joins KHCB As VP/Content & On-Air Operations

For the record, I know this could go to TX and LA, but due to prefix issues, I'm posting it here. I haven't heard of KHCB, since I left Ruston, LA, back in January of '09. I used to hear them from time to time on KHCL, can't remember the COL. I believe the President of the ministry was named Bruce and every night, at around 6, he'd do what he called Sincerely Yours Time, where he'd update folk on the station news of that day, etc.

I believe Bruce retired a year or two ago.

I don’t see any changes being made. KHCB is a very “old line” operation, much like you would have heard from religious formatted FMs 60 years ago.

I think it actually sounds pretty different from even a year ago. Definitely some modernizing going on.

Interestingly, I was at the NRB convention early this year and Adam Curry (aka "The Podfather" for his role in creating podcasting) used KHCB as an example during his talk of one of the broadcasters using his company's product that connects listeners with podcasts so that radio listeners can hear the program again inside the station app without having to go somewhere else.
