SHEEN GETS $25 MILLION SETTLEMENT FROM WARNER BROTHERS WITH MORE TO COME

Could this be why Sheen has appeared to be so happy lately and almost normal again?
It sure would put a big smile on my face.

TMZ is reporting that Warner Brothers will settle his lawsuit for $25 million and he will
get another 100 million from syndication over the next 7 - 10 years. I'm surprised Warner
would settle and not fight. Must have been a clause or something in there that he could
not be fired (is all I can think of). Now he really is WINNING.

I hope the rest of the cast gets what they should as they were much more entertaining to watch than Charlie.

As for the new show......BAH! Kutcher is no actor.

As if Sheen was any better.....

I thought Sheen fit the part much better. Kutcher is both unconvincing and somewhat irritating in the role behaving more like a angst-ridden teenager than any sort of rich adult. Of course, they didn't give Aston much to work with either. That show had to be written in about 20 minutes for all the thought put into it.

I think WB could have come up with a much more realistic (for a comedy) situation to build upon than what I saw last night. The show isn't off the radar yet but it is getting very faint.......

I don't know if you caught it but a few times, Kutcher was smirking before the joke was told. And he shouldn't have been. Sheen is a competent actor. I don't know where the show will go. I don't think Jon Cryer can carry a show by himself. He's funny but he is funny in a second banana type way, not as a lead comic. So Kutcher is gonna have to do better. Maybe he can, it's too early to really say.

And of course my favourite Conchata Ferrell, will always be funny. I hope somehow she can get her own show. She has been overlooked for too long

I've watched the show from the beginning and always thought Cryer carried the show. Charlie is much more the straight man most of the time. The show, without Charlie, could survive but I really doubt it would without Jon Cryer.

As for Ferrell....she is not given many lines but what lines she does have are usually priceless. However, I don't think she could carry a show by herself.
