Shelly Winters(1920-2006)

Was she related to Johnathan Winters or was "Winters" simply a stage name? Anyway, her bio at http://imdb.com/name/nm0001859/ mentions that she had a famous blowup one night on "The Tonight Show With Johnny Carson" back on July 6, 1972. It was with Oliver Reed.
______________

I remember she caught a lot of flak over that. Jerry put that rumor to bed by appearing on the Primetime Emmy Awards(in uniform) as a presenter in '67, IIRC.
______________
