SHERMAN LANDS ON HIS SHOES!

Program Director of NewsTalk station in Albany NY, fired after 5 months and the lowest numbers the station has seen in over a year, now working in the Berkshires. I will say it - he's done, stick a fork in him.
 
If you thought WROW was a non-player you ain't seen nothing yet. WBRK-AM has market awareness of somewhere between "who cares" and "WBR who?" Johnny is right...his 5 minutes (didn't even get 15) of fame is gone. Who cares.
 
Just like Tennessee & Massachusetts, If it is West of the Hudson
Those who are East of the Hudson consider it a Non-entity.

WBRK is a locally owner/operator station with a Phenomenal
footprint for both its AM & FM stations(101.7/1340).

Having worked there in the early nineties, I must say that
he resumed his Berkshire county career on a station doing
something that WILL bite VOX in the old radio ass.

Besides, WROW 590 is a WGY-
wannabee station as it currently is.
You west hudsoners can keep it.
WGY carries over Lebanon Mountain just fine.

While politically I do not ally myself with SB, Kudos for him
getting 3 drive time hours of talk on a Heritage A.C. station.
 
I think he should spice up his show by talking about the kennedys or skakels. people in mass. want to hear about that stuff. or talk about bubba. that would make for interesting radio. no joke here. people want to hear about someone who turned their life around and done good for themselves. good luck sherman or tad or whoever. glad you got another shot. noone needs to be out of a job now. tell your sidekick to enuciate and speak up and dont sound like a mush-mouth. ex. fat albert show. his energy needs to match yours.
 
Someone should change their name to "Oh Me Know Nothing". ; ) Not that it matters, but Baldwin was on for 7 months, not 5, and as anyone with access to relevant information on these boards knows: Baldwin's show's ratings we're actually quite good. Still, all the know nothings on these boards with no access to ratings details continue to demonstrate their ignorance. As Johnny pointed out, some people go so far as to claim they are running stations when given creative opportunities to try to justify their jobs during a time when management is demanding heads. Boy, if you could burn bitterness, ignorance, and delusion, some of the posters here would be awash is cash from their personal stores of renewable energy resources. There, I said it.
 
Sherman is going to hurt the VOX cluster in the Berkshires.
He is doing "local" radio .. live talk from Pittsfield.. ( whether you like him or not ) ..

But Pittsfield listeners will listen to him rather than the garbage and the "voice tracking" on the Vox stations that is done by 9 in the morning. You could have a major event happen in Pittsfield and a Vox station won't have it on until its published in the Berkshire Eagle newspaper.
