SHHHH.....

WOW-OH-WOW!!!!

This board has been quiet with the Binnie-Shapiro purchase of Nassau only a short couple months away...who needs a lil kick in the milk bucket??? Where's Bessie so we can have a cow bingo contest to see what formats will land where?

Here's the questions that my friends at the K of C came up with last night during cribbage...

What will Binnie do in Portland?? Will da Bone still be in tact when he closes?

Any possible changes in Concord and who is the Bin-meister putting in charge of the whole she-bang??

How about Jeffy? Any format changes you guys could see for his stations from Keene to Derby (MOOOOOO!!! My wife loves listening to the Cow in Newport!!!) Who will stay...go...be in charge...and steer the John Deere??

WOOOOOWWWWZZZEEERRR!!! Times will get crazy!!!!

I figure Shapiro will have to do a format change in the Upper Valley since WMXR and WHDQ are both classic rock. It would make sense to keep classic rock on Q106 (maybe move the Greg and the Morning Buzz show to 106.1) since it has a better signal and more heritage in the format. As for 93.9 in Woodstock, I wonder if they would air ESPN on that stick (as well as 1230 - Claremont) since the 910 - White River Junction license was sent back to the FCC.

It guess that Binnie will keep 95.3/107.1 Country.

I still wonder if Shapiro will be under the market ownership cap in the Upper Valley.

From what I've gathered from a close source over at Nassau is that Maxx 93.9 will definitley drop the rock format. Now I would think that that putting ESPN radio on 93.9 would make sense but dont forget WWOD Oldies is being sold off so Oldies could flip to 93.9. Now where does the Patriots games go to? Q 106 being a 50 thousand watt station that could be a possibility. As much as I disdain the show Imus will stay on Q because its free money and morning ad's on the Q are also full for revenue.

I wonder what Shapiro is going to do with 96.3 in Walpole? If it stays as oldies I could see a simulcast with 93.9.
