Shoals Frequency Changes

"Effective March 3rd, three of URBan Radio Broadcasting's Florence/Muscle Shoals
Radio Group of FM stations, WLAY-FM (Country), WJOR-FM (Classic Country) and
WMXV-FM (Urban) will change their radio frequencies.

The Shoals #1 Country Station, WLAY-FM 100.3 will broadcast at 103.5-FM.

Classic Country WJOR-FM 101.5 will merge with WLAY-FM and broadcast at
103.5-FM.

The Shoals #1 Urban Station, WMXV-FM 103.5 will broadcast at 101.5-FM.

No changes will occur with the other three URBan radio properties:

Rock WVNA 105.5-FM.
News/Talk WVNA 1590-AM.
The Legendary WLAY 1450-AM. The Home Of The Muscle Shoals Sound.

The move comes as Clear Channel Broadcasting takes possession of the 100.3-FM
frequency where WLAY-FM currently resides. This was part of the original deal
brokered by the two radio companies as URBan purchased the cluster from Clear
Channel. Clear Channel is moving the 100.3-FM frequency to the Huntsville, AL
market."

any Ideas on exactly when? Midnight? noon? 2:42 PM?

I'm listening to WLAY right now and there has not been one mention of a move, yet Kool 92/94 is all over it...

and speaking of kool, I'm wondering if they will move in on 100.3 tonight / tomorrow, or shut 100.3 down until it moves, or even put LAY on a simulcast between 100.3 and 103.5 (like WRAX did when they were thrown away) until the move<P ID="signature">______________
