You don't have to answer anything. But it sure does make you look like you're trying to avoid something. This is two wrongful firings in a row where you've failed to answer this question. There must be a reason beyond you just don't want to do it.

Not sure what this has to do with anything, but ok. Imus shouldn't have been fired either. The nice big settlement he got proves that. He's hoping Anthony takes SiriusXM and Gawker to the cleaners, too.

Except there were no racial slurs on the Twitter feed. Not one. He called the specific woman who attacked him and the men who threatened him all kinds of names, but not a single ethnic slur.

On the other hand, the very first words out of the attacker's mouth were to call Ant a "white m-fer". He pointed that out, and when asked provided some NYPD stats (from the NYPD's official site) on racial crime in New York City. That's all there is to this.

One website that has a vendetta against Cumia for being a Fox News contributor calls him "racist" and 10 other clickbait clones pick up the same lies. That's how the outrage machine gets started.

Arguments aside..Where opie and anthony on air today, or did he take a normal vacation week? I don't even listen to the show and I'm curious what happened.
although it does kind of seem like black people have more free reign in what they can say without getting in trouble than the white folk. they can do white jokes and people think it's cute...however, the other way around, and all hell breaks loose.

Apparently, from one of my friends who DOES listen, this is the update on his view of things. Supposedly anthony on the show has gotten crazier and crazier over the last few years, and the two hosts no longer get along. for all we know, if that was true, this was a power grab on opies part to finally be rid of his partner. Not so far fetched...where have we seen that story recently? )

There will never be another show with any of the three on Sirius. That meeting tomorrow is likely to tell Opie and Norton that the show in cancelled and Sirius is paying them to sit until October. They're probably even paying Cumia to sit until October.

Sirius knows better than to let Opie and Norton on the air again, because even if they behave, the callers will RIGHTFULLY smash Sirius to bits.

I got that a little from the show but did not take it too seriously but who knows. It would be a step up for Norton if he is given equal billing or Opie having the show solely named after him. I do not think I could take more of Norton.
