Shocked By No Serious Predictions?

With the change so close and even KISW pumping up speculation on their own web site, I am totally shocked that nobody on here has made any real serious predictions about who will take over the morning slot from Stern?

I know lot's of guys have commented on this topic but with the change so close, some of the so called insiders must have some information to share on this. I mean somebody has to be talking about this???

I'd give R&M a snowball's chance in hell of moving to KISW...too old, crappy ratings plus the little issue of Robin's lawsuit against Entercom. My money's on BJ Shea, a local show that has a much bigger following than R&M at this point and a show that plays better to KISW's demos. I do get pretty tired of BJ berating his subordinates and the constant hyena laugh in the background though.

I've never listened to BJ's show, but that sure sounds like Stern's show.

I was thinking that BJ would be the best choice to take over KISW's morning slot, but then I thought, what about Double R? I've listened on the days that BJ's been off and I think "Double Slappy" has actually done a good job. Maybe it's time.<P ID="signature">______________

I too, have never listened to BJ but I have it on good authority that he is the guy. Does it really matter? Is anybody listening to KISW anymore? Maybe the street is too old....

Seriously, Andy Savage is the man coming to KISW in the mornings...At least that's that the gnomes tell me...

Just watched the commerical. Some people are saying Andy Savage. But I'll still put the rent money on BJ Shea. He did mention something about shooting a TV commercial, but I heard that the shoot was cancelled, unless that was TPTB's way of throwing people off track. Cool touch with "the unknown radio personality" thing(the paper bag over the head).<P ID="signature">______________

I really think it is going to be BJ.... but I would not be at all suprised if Savage ends up back at Entercom.


I was thinking that BJ would be the best choice to take over KISW's morning slot, but then I thought, what about Double R? I've listened on the days that BJ's been off and I think "Double Slappy" has actually done a good job. Maybe it's time.

I just saw the three "Who Will Replace Howard Stern?" TV spots. You can hear laughter in the background on the second one which sounds alot like Toppy. The third one has three guys wearing paper bags. The guy in the middle made a mumbling sound that sounds alot like BJ. He's also holding his paper bag covered face in his hands like he's embarrased by the two others. Those are great ads.<P ID="signature">______________
