SHOCKER: Emmis launches two HD-2 dance stations in it's own backyard!

WNOU-2 which will be Current Dance and sister WYXB, a Soft AC on the analog side will add a Disco format on it's HD-2.

Guess Ryan can no longer call Emmis Anti Dance.

But sorry Tony Santiago, WQHT 2 will be Old Skool Hip Hop, but WQCD-2 brings back the Chill format.

But KPWR-2 is a interesting one. They're dubbing this one as Power Dos, a musically extended version of Power. Does that mean more hip hop or mabye some dance? I can't quite figure that out.<P ID="signature">______________

That one is a surprise. Indianapolis must really be Dance-friendly these days.

That one's a surprise there too. I wish HOT 97 went with Dance though.

Power Dos will be a Bilingual version of KPWR, a la KYLD/San Francisco's "Wild Espanol" HD channel.

So Im wondering If KIISFM Espanol will be like Wild 949 Espanol? If so that would be freakin great. Im loving Wild949 Dos. Will see if Power beats KIIS to the punch. What do you guys think? I hope we get Wild 949 Dos here in LA. We need Dance music back. What I like most about it, is that it does play 80's dance, freestyle, deep house, reggeaton, and pop hip hop. Thats what 949 use to be like before going all wacked out on the music it plays on the analog signal.

So Im wondering If KIISFM Espanol will be like Wild 949 Espanol? If so that would be freakin great. Im loving Wild949 Dos. I dont get it but why is it Wild 949 in espanol? It doesn't make sense. I thought I would be hearing superestrella musica on that station. Will see if Power beats KIIS to the punch. What do you guys think? I hope we get Wild 949 Dos here in LA. We need Dance music back. What I like most about Wild Dos is that it does play 80's dance, freestyle, deep house, reggeaton, and upbeat remixes of hip hop. Thats what 949 use to be like before going all wacked out on the music it plays on the analog signal.

Wild 94-9 Dos is playing Cascada "Everytime We Touch" right now (5:53pm PT)...

Yeah, I just heard "Because Of You" into "808" into "Feel Good Inc". The only Espanol is in the sweepers.

WNOU Added an HD2 Dance stream...(no Way)...I guess I shouldnt be surprised, considering how Dance friendly they have become lately, not to mention all the new dance clubs that have recently opened here in Indy....(GREAT)..Now I get to save up my cash, for a 2,000 dollar HD2 Receiver...
