Shocker: Rams/Falcons "Likely" Blacked Out This Week

This according to the Belleville News-Democrat:

It's likely that the Rams' game against the Falcons will become the third home game blacked out on local television this season. There are still several thousand tickets remaining for the game. The team has until noon today to reach a sellout under the NFL's 72-hour blackout rule.

Should anyone anywhere be subjected to this game? :)

Couldn't be a worse predicament than the 4% of the country missing out on Patriots/Colts in favor of... Browns/Texans! (At least that one was moderately interesting.)

By the way, just confirmed by USA Today:

Sunday's low-wattage matchup will be the third game blacked out on local television because it did not sell out. The franchise had sold out every game since moving to St. Louis in 1995 before last season's finale, on Christmas Eve, against the five-win Redskins. Now, lots of empty seats have become commonplace.

And by the way, going into this weekend, the Rams' home record is 0-5. :D Can you say, "I'm goin' back to Cali"?

You could and we would say "You can keep 'em, we dont want them back." Today the mayor of LA admitted that trying to bring an NFL team back to the Coliseum probably isnt going to happen. This was in response to "leaked" intel that USC might be looking to move their home football games to the Rose Bowl next year instead.

FOX would love that!

NFC team...market #2...

And blackouts every home game, because Los Angelenos flat out don't care, which is why they lost the Rams in the first place.
