I don't know about short, ugly and funny looking but the first time I met the Real Chris Stevens when he worked at Quixie, back in the day, I couldn't believe it! Here was a short, curly headed guy who looked every bit of 15, in fact, his feet barely touched the floor from his control room chair but what blew me away most was his delivery. Never in a million years would I have matched this person with this voice if I hadn't seen it
with my own eyes. Guess that's one of the things that has intrigued me about radio over the years.
