Short video of some AM nighttime DXing

I borrowed a friend's camera that also takes videos to capture a little sample of what's on the AM dial at night in Tampa.

I wish I could have done the entire bamd but the maximum length of a video the camera can take can only be 1 minute, so here are three regular stations I pick up at night on the little walkman I use for my DXing.

gar fla, I liked your video I hope you get to make another one like that soon. I'm from Chicago
so I was hoping you would have stopped on 780 ;D. I remember the last time I was in Tampa
WBBM was one of the only Chicago stations I could pick up. Another reason I enjoyed your video
was the fact that you have the exact same Sony Walkman I have. At least I know there are two
of us now ;).

Hey, I'm glad I'm not the only walkman DXer. :)

What I had to do was wait until the conditions were just right where all the stations were coming in fairly good at the same time. And I didn't expect I'd be lucky enough to get any station IDs but but that's why I stopped on WCBS. Otherwise, I could have gotten WLS too which comes in most of the time. When I frist moved down here 25 years ago, WLS was one of my favorites to listen to on my Sony AM Stereo Walkman. I remember the stations used two different modes and there was an "A-B" switch on the side of the radio. When music on AM radio was pretty much gone, I had no use for the walkman and don't have it anymore. I really wish I held on to it. :(
