We're talking doo wop here. Music mostly from the mid to late 50's. Even a person who was 15 in the middle of the doo wop years is now around 75. There is no way a station can make any money on 75+ listeners.
It's about economic reality, not "classic hits" and charts and all that gobbledygook.
