Should K Hits 104.3 have more DJ's?

Do you think they should have DJ's on after 8pm weeknights? And also are there any weekend jocks and if so what time do they start? The station sounds much better with jocks... And I am sure with more DJ's the station would be even more popular? Doesn't rewind 100.3 have jocks 24/7?

You would think that they would have their entire staff in place before the switch. Thats the way it was always done in the past, but over the last two decades it's quite normal to flip a format and have no staff in place. Here in LA Movin 93.9 had just Rick Dees and it took them months to add more talent. The same with AMP Radio here. 104.3 will get more jocks in time....

It may be a economic reason. Remember the previous format was a computerized Jack. So they have brought in some top talent for the prime dayparts, and running automated the next. Seems like more of a sign of the times for radio, no need to fully staffed.

Right--they're not going to spend the money to fully staff a music radio station anymore. If they did it would be cheaper satellite delivered.

When WCBS-FM returned to Classic Hits in 2007, I believe the only slots where they had permanent live talent secured were mornings, middays, and PM drive on weekdays. But they still had a rotation of live voices on during evenings and weekend daytime hours, and voicetracking in the overnights. Hopefully K-Hits can find some people to fill those slots quickly, or at least get a merry-go-round of fill-ins.

I thought that George McFly was supposed to be doing nights on K-Hits?

Not there yet? He left his morning gig in Colorado Springs almost a month ago to go to K-Hits....
