Should KROM Get Its License Pulled??

I don't think the FCC should go so far as to deny their license. It was in bad taste, considering the day and time in which we live now post 9-11, however, pulling their license would be going too far. I bet you that KROM doesn't ever put themselves in this position again. This is publicity that they surely don't want.

I dont think they should get their licenses pulled over that(as it was done as parody). At most, I think a decent sized fine for screwing around and letting their license expire is punishment enough.

No. Especially not after five years. It's hard enough to come up with good segments that won't offend anyone.

The bar for forfeiture is awfully high. Surely a station won't suffer that fate for what is little more than misguided political commentary about immigration policy.

Techically they were aiding and abetting criminal activity, but immigration is not the third rail that something like drug smuggling would be.

The renewal application, if you read the article, was filed on time.

The delay is in processing the renewal at the FCC.

they should be reprimanded severly. that really was poor judgement.
Edited by Turd Ferguson on 12/27/05 07:59 AM.
