Should MTV be moved to a higher tier?

Personally i think mtv sucks now but would cable companies make more money if they moved up to fourth or fifth tier?I dont care to keep my 60. 00 pkg just so my 3 or 4 bucks does not go towards it.I had the so called Economy pkg on cox then for a huge discount and only like a buck more a month I went back to the next level vwhich includes the basic ESPN's and mtv and vh-1.why not bleed the college kids for it and take it off the bottom three tiers.
