Should ROCK Radio be a "Thermostat" or ... a "Thermometer" ? ? ? ?
Should ROCK radio set the "tone" for it's listeners, ie like being a thermostat, where you can make the house "cool" or "hot" or "lukewarm".
Or should ROCK radio simply by reactionary, like a thermostat, with no intent to set the tone?
I think a great ROCK radio station, would be one that I would actively, and not passively listen to for serveral hours, or even more, at a time. And I think that that great ROCK radio station, that I would listen to for several hours at a time, would be like a thermostat, and set the tone and direction fo the program. Just like good talk radioholds listeners for hours at a time, so would a great ROCK radi station.
