How much time and effort is involved in preparing for each day's show?

Some local hosts work solo while leading national talkers have staff.

Also, some hosts are quite versatile, and other say the same things over and over.
 
I would think that Twitter and Facebook would make show prep much easier for some hosts. Real-time show prep, if you will.
