Showgram on WMKS?

Is Bob and the Showgram still on 105.7 in the Triad? Yes.com lists music during morning hours on WMKS.

I sampled the first two segments of today's show online. They still used the 800 number -- but did mention a G105 specific event and name-dropped the station during a discussion. This might not be significant since the Showgram has never made a huge effort to remove local (Raleigh) content from the show in the first place. It's always been a Triangle-centered show, even when on in Greensboro.

105.7's Twitter page refers to music in the morning.

They're gone from the website and the site also promotes "wake up with the hits...no talk, all hits all morning."

Wonder if they'll try something like Elvis Duran?

::) ::) Somebody said they hired Tom Collins...!!! hahahahah

Oh yeah, Tom will debut a whole new type of programming, "The AA Showgram" and each day they'll go through the individual 12 steps. On the 13th day they'll change formats and go off the air....

Now, I don't care who you are but that is definately funny!

I guess I am in the minority, but I like the music on Hit Music NOW more than WKZL. They are more current and don't play a lot of stuff that's several years old. Sure it's canned, but just better IMO.

I heard from a good source who knows that it was BOb himself who pulled the plug on the show and it was a dolla issue!!!! ;D :D ;) ::) :p ;D ;D :D :(

Bob made some comments on last Tuesday's show about being pulled because of comments they made about "Mexican swimming season."

Your good source's explanation sounds much more plausible, though.

Some have suggested ratings were bad. If this is true, how are ratings in Raleigh? I can't see CC investing long term in a pure local top 40 morning show especially If it fails in syndication. Or does Raleigh's showgram continue to be the exception to the rule?
