Last week, a teenager in Tennessee shot and killed an assistant principal and wounded other school officials. When the suspect was led away, the video shown on TV was blurred to hide his face.
Then the shooting takes place at the Phoenix Subway shop and three teens are arrested. All three are shown being led into the downtown jail facility and later appearing before the judge, no blurring of the faces.
I thought the media was required to hide the faces of juveniles who are arrested and suspected of commiting a crime? Why did they hide one and show another?
