Flipping through the channels during the 10:00pm news, and I saw part of a CBS 11 report on a prostitution sting. They showed the under cover officer.

I had the same thought you did. Why on earth would they do that? CBS 11 is out of control.
 
Well, the cop will have to start wearing a uniform again, I guess, since KTVT outed him.
 
What about KXAS 5 showing video of a guy atop a building attempting suicide by hanging himself with a belt. The fire department quickly grabbed him to keep him from finishing the deed but what is KXAS thinking?

By the way that happened yesterday (Tuesday) on NBC 5.
 
4 showed the drunk chief swinging at arresting officers and then being told (on film) that he would have probably gotten off for his drunk driving had he not done that.

Then, in an interview an officer tells the reporter that cops don't get special treatment...
