Shredd & Ragan and XM??

Opie and Anthony have announced their GOLDEN TICKET contest giving Ron & Fez the first slot on their XM channel 202. They have also been tossing some other names around on the air about who to give the other 4 tickets too. Shredd and Ragan has been mentioned on this list of shows, think anything could come of this?

Sorry, but there is not enough talent there to even consider them. They have been a consistent loser in the Arbitron for years. If you have no ratings, does that qualify you for a shot at XM? I highly doubt it!

well I'm not at liberty to gauge the amount of talant necissary in making the jump to satellite radio. I'm also not quite sure which arbitron ratings you're looking at...

Somebody may have had one too many...

I don't know what numbers frankbenny is looking at. The numbers I'm looking at say that Shredd & Ragan do very well with men 18-34 and 18-49. They would seem poised to either jump to satellite, or fill some of the void left by Howard's exodus. I could see them either going to a much larger market, or syndicating on a regional scale.

I wonder if Citadel thought about syndicating them when they pulled the plug on Howard? I think that they would have done better in Syracuse than Dopie and Agony edits, or the Syracuse/Alabama hybrid they're running now.

Shranski and Rangoon would have been a much better fit in the 'Cuse than the Huckleberry Hound show that's now on 95X.

What genius made that decision?!

Here you have too supremely talented knuckleheads in Buffalo, who can talk choppers, strippers and stoopid politicians til the cows come home, just 2.5 hours down the pike from the Salt City and the programming rocket scientists at Clear Channel Lite go to Alabama to replace the King Of All Hype with two and a half marginally talented guys who sound like Gomer Pyle.

Amazing!

Dude, put the bong down for a minute. Howard is with Infinity, not Citadel!

Try to keep up

DUDE, no bongs here. Howard was on five Citadel stations, including 95X in Syracuse, as well has a handful of Clear Channel stations, in addition to Infinity.

So far, you're 0 for 2 on your posts in this thread. Care to try again? Or, maybe you should consider the advice of former Buffalo resident Mark Twain:

"It is better to be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt."
