Passing through NW LA over the weekend... Stopped in Minden to ... take care of business after several hours of driving and a couple of diet cokes...

Noticed an 8.5 x 11 piece of paper on the door of the Minden Truck Stop that read, "Join us on October 22nd as Country 101 will give away two tickets to Texas Motor Speedway..."

My question is, When did KRMD become known as "Country 101"? Also, is something off with the processing on KRMD, sounded a little hollow?

Or does anyone even care?

Congratulations. Again, you've managed to slip in a comment that's totally irrelevant to the thread. Your abilities along that line are astounding. Perhaps if you were actually anywhere NEAR Shreveport, you could give a legitimate response to the question that was asked.

KRMD is still known as 101.1 KRMD....I'm not sure where the country 101 is coming from, but I've not heard them use that on air.
 
It's all over their website, so either they are trying to move to that (country 101) or something (kind of re-inforcing that it's a country station in print). Haven't heard KRMD in a while to know for sure.

Hell I didn't even notice COL flipped to Oil City,La. (which was probably done because of the 107.9/97.3 fiasco)

fyi..i can pick up kwkh at my house. i can as i am typing this. just because i dont live there doesnt mean i dont know whats there..and i dont like new country. which is what the other stations are.
