Former radio guy Sid Roach was killed in an auto accident in Kennewick this morning. A few of you will remember that Sid managed KAYO in Aberdeen before it moved to Olympia and South Mountain. His father Sid and mother Judy used to own KARY in Prosser. Sid's father was a broadcast engineer and I believe worked in Portland prior to purchasing KARY. Sid had left the broadcast field maybe 10 years ago. He was 60 years old.
