What a loser but dumb Joe Bell probably won't do anything.

Absolutely correct, sir!

He will have to commit something more egregious before Jolly Joe cans him.

From the article linked above:

Officer Jon Cooke said when he arrived, "I discovered [Rosenberg] laying on the ground behind his vehicle in the fetal position with his fingers in his mouth. He appeared to be attempting to induce himself to vomit. I noticed vomit on his clotches as well as inside and next to the driver door of the vehicle. I noticed a strong odor of alcoholic beverage emanating from his breath. His speech was extremely slurred and he was crying. His face was flush and his eyes were bloodshot."

OY! How pathetic can one get??

Interesting liability exposure a radio station could have:
-Self admitted Addiction issues.
-Remotes where addiction issues are being tested.
-What if harm occurs to others or to talent when the station set up the remote for a talent with known issues.
-What if you have support staff of station enabling person toward their addiction weaknesses and some one is harmed.
-Spouse or children of person with addiction issues could take action against station because of known issues.

Ultimately, why is station surrounding a person with known issues with these exposures.

Just thoughts to consider.....

If he admitted to these "issues," then the station cannot fire him. It falls into the same category as any other illness.

This is also the guy who tried to give away advertising to cover his ridiculous gambling debts and then had ANOTHER gambling company send someone to South Florida to collect on another ridiculous gambling debt.

This guy needs all kinds of rehab.

Lots of supposition in there with little actual fact. The guy is obviously sick. Everyone knows his demons. He doesn't deny his problems. Since WQAM is aware of his issues, they're not going to put him, or the station, in any jeopardy by playing into your unlikely scenarios. (He does need serious rehab, though.)

Sid Rosenberg DUI Arrest: Charges Filed; Arraignment Set for End of Month

From the New Times Broward-Palm Beach:

Sid Rosenberg DUI Arrest: Charges Filed; Arraignment Set for End of Month

Charges for DUI and driving with a suspended license have been filed against former WQAM-AM (560) sports radio host Sid Rosenberg, who was arrested April 5 after police say they found him crying and vomiting in the middle of the road.

His arraignment has been scheduled for April 30 at 9 a.m., according to Broward County court records,...

He'll probably get the Rick Sanchez special.
