Sid Rosenberg gone from WFAN

Joe Benigno announced that Sid resigned from his midday show due to personal reasons. All i can say is it's about time he's gone. He brought nothing to that show.

WFAN is dull now anyways. WEEI out of Boston has taken over (rightly so) as best sports radio station in the country.

Please sir let us review what you wrote below:

You are so correct about what you wrote about Sid, nicely said.

Let me correct what you said about WFAN below.

You can take your leaning BOSTON ways and jump into the Charles River and do us all a favor and do not come up for air.

Have a nice day before you do this for us...

Truth hurts, eh?

WFAN is a thing of the past. It's all about WEEI-AM/FM. Now streaming.. it's taking over Sports talk as we know it. THE #1 Rated Sports Station in the Entirrrrrrrrrrre country!

learn your facts, dope.....I was going to correct you when you ran your Boston junk on my thread below but didn't feel like it....

you are so off base.....it's not even worth explaining...

I hate new york...but you are making me defend that city because you are making all Boston people seem clueless when posting your nonsense

I know my facts. WEEI is higher rated in terms of share percentage then any other sports station in the country. That includes the FAN and your second rate station in Philly.

Boston people been like that for years and thanks for saying what you said so corectly. Being in the corner of the country thay think they are the cornerstone of the country. As anyone who listens to WFAN nothing compares to it for sports radio especially if you listen to Mike and the Mad Dog. Also WEEI ratings are the highest because the town has been high ever since thay changed owners on the baseball team and the football team has been winning. That's why ESPN Radio has finnaly gothen to Boston because the town is listening to sports radio for once.

OK, so ratings always equals success?

WIP probably bills more in a competitive market where regional advertisers are trying to get ads to NYC and Baltimore, too. That should say something. Of course, WFAN bills more, too.

I'm from Boston but it's impossible to call WEEI the best sports-radio station in the country. I'd rather listen to Angelo Cataldi snore for four hours a day than even touch Dennis and Callahan -- even after John Dennis' embarassingly entertaining voice mail came out.

And the Big Show in WEEI's PM drive has grown on me ... but, please, at least Mike and Nut Dog at least venture beyond the realm of NYC every once in a while. The next non-Boston call I hear on WEEI will be the first.

I also hope WFAN uses the opportunity to put Joe back on overnights. He was a great overnight host and had a perfect sound. Find someone else (lure Michael Kay away from 1050?) to be your midday host.

I would just like to say that I had a very negative personal experience with Sid R. He is not very talented and probably deserved to lose his job. He is a jerk.

Kiley and Booms wouldn't last a week on WFAN. WFAN is one of the least entertainment oriented sports talk stations in the country. WFAN is still doing hard core sports while much of the rest of the country has adopted some form og "guy talk". Kiley and Booms can't play that. They'd be laughed off the air for their lack of sports knowledge.
