At 4:08p they reported a story of an attempted child abduction in North Dallas. The problem with the story was they showed a close up, not once but twice, plus a medium shot of the ACTUAL STREET ADDRESS of the victim!!!!! The predator is still on the loose!. Is Journalism 101 still in short supply over there?

The old rules don't apply anymore, since a lot of camera people, producers,. and news directors don't know (or care) what the rules were in the first place.

Fortunately Regent Ducas has only succeeded in chasing off good reporters at Channel 11 and in sending the ratings for that station right into the tank. Channels 4 and 8 are quite happy he's at 11. He's done more to help their ratings than anything that's happened in this market in years. Channel 5 is just envious - and that too is sad.

OK....Regent Ducas, that's just gotta' be a made up name.

Kinda' like making up your own pornstar name....first name was your first pet, and second name was the street you grew up on.

You can call me, Duke Belmont.

Can KTVT (or any station) broadcast
the victim's name? They broadcast
the victim's address, so where does
privacy kick in?
