Hi!
I saw a sign on Interstate 75 at the Warner Robins-Byron exit while headed South. It was painted on a board and said, "Q-106 is like an old sock". I'm also reading (in media message boards) complaints that the station plays the same music they played in 1988.
Isn't it time we got rid of the metal and the tedious Ted Nugent cut, "Stranglehold"? We could have a higher-income demographic and more females if we incorporated more early Beatles, Billy Joel, Elton John, and cuts like "Jackie Blue". There would still be room for the Allman Brothers and Led Zeppelin.
Classic rock has very likely run its course here in Macon; it isn't 1988 anymore. And "all my rowdy friends have settled down".
