Silence on 96.5

Since 11:45pm, I haven't heard anything on Mix, not even snow, and im getting it clear too. Im no radio engineer, but are they moving signals to CBS Radio studios now or something?

Still nothing at 1:12 weird normally when a station does maintenance they sign off for 4 to 6 hrs

Would it be odd if they all the sudden changed the format of the station? Maybe to El Patron?

There doing maintenance station should be back up and runing by 6am

It's back on air.
No format change - simply technical issues.
It wasn't any maintenance.

Isn't it great not to get a phone call from a jock at midnight? It's much more soothing to read on the 'Net that the station is off the air. No jangly telephones.

Maybe they were switching from the Clear Channel studio to CBS?

Sunday night /early Monday mornings is common for maintenance.
But its possible they were switching studios over to CBS.

The Mix website is now under CBS as is the Mega website.

KHMX and KLOL have been operating solely from the CBS Studios as of 12am on April 1st... Transmitters and all, but sources inside say the transition has not been smooth at all, from both ends, so the silence doesn't surprise me....
